Fascinated by the urban architecture in the area of the neighbourhood Ostersbaum I deal in my second series with details of Wuppertal`s residential houses. The hilly and confined space conditions of the area create convoluted pieces of architecture. A balcony wedged against a garage door. Stone stairs built above the entrance door. A scooter parked underneath the balcony.
In Ostersbaum (Architekturen) I am exploring architectures, that adapt themselves to the spatial circumstances of this neighbourhood, their pragmatic use and the temporarily stored away objects. The temporary settlement of the in between.
