From my hotel window on the Canary Islands I looked down on the forecourt of the hotel. I saw palm trees next to construction site equipment, sandy mounds and all sorts of pipes: A huge construction site for road renewal right in front of my hotel.
Still lifes and small architectures in the construction site context all over the place. And cloth. Cloth to shield the view on the construction sites and to serve as a hoarding. These green and yellow-black panels of fabric can be found everywhere. They have a lightness. And in the bright sunlight their transparency provides a view on the construction site on the one hand and conceals it at the same time.
